Ryan Lake, located within a working forest about a mile north of the east side of the monument. While the surrounding area was replanted after the 1980 eruption, the perimeter of Ryan Lake was left to heal naturally. Photo taken in July 2015.

Miner's Car exhibit by Meta Lake along NF-99. The vehicle was a 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix that was hurled 60 feet in the air to this spot by the May 18, 1980 eruption. Sadly, the vehicle's owners were in a nearby cabin and were among the 57 people killed that day.
